Meet Jessica Guthrie, DNP, FNP, RN, NRCME
About Me
I grew up in Gilman and Minturn in Eagle County, where I developed a deep appreciation for the hardworking people who keep our communities running. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner since 2021, I’ve spent the last two years specializing in Occupational Medicine. I love serving my community and understand the dedication it takes to live and work in this beautiful region.
My educational background includes a Doctorate in Nursing from Bradley University, a Nursing degree from the Denver School of Nursing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from UC Davis. Additionally, I’m a certified Master Gardener through CSU. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, rafting, and fishing in the summer, or snowshoeing and skiing in the winter.
Why I Started a Mobile CDL Medical Exam Practice
After years of conducting CDL medical exams in Eagle and Summit counties, I saw firsthand the challenges commercial drivers face in getting DOT physical examination appointments. Long drives, extended wait times, and missed workdays make the process inconvenient and disruptive. That’s why I launched Colorado DOT DOC—a mobile CDL medical exam service designed to bring certification closer to you.
